When I pick up my watercolor brushes, I enter a world of magic and a fusion of color. Watercolor painting is a natural for me. I paint with vibrant, translucent, simplistically beautiful watercolors offering inspiration in a realm of serenity. Watercolor painting is my passion. Flowers are my specialty, but I paint anything that inspires me.

My life as a watercolor painter began in 1993. We had made our first move without children and I was looking for something to do other than a secretarial job. After being introduced to a local watercolor artist and discovering what a tube of paint, a good brush and bucket of water could create, I was in love with this medium. I am basically self taught, although, when time permits I attend workshops instructed by other artists.

Following an introduction to painting in Indiana we moved to McAllen, Texas. While in McAllen my art was further enhanced under the direction of the Hidalgo Watercolor Society. For the next 10 years we lived in Santa Fe, NM where I developed a considerable following as a member of the Santa Fe Society of Artists. 2008 found us back in Richmond, IN where it all began. I love what I do and I love giving others the opportunity to own a piece of my art. My art hangs in private and corporate collections

worldwide.
